Removing marks on teeth
This patient had frosty white marks on her front teeth which were the result of too much fluoride or antibiotics when she was a young child. She had been advised to have veneers or crowns to cover over the discolourations.
The marks were removed by a combination of microabrasion (polishing out of the lighter marks) and some composite bonding to cover over the darker marks. The treatment was very conservative and was performed in one appointment. The patient's smile was transformed and crowns and veneers were avoided.
